Previously, the Vietnam women's team arrived in Nagoya city (Japan) after a night flight from Hanoi, officially starting a 10-day training program to complete preparations before entering the 33rd SEA Games.
Immediately after landing at Nagoya International Airport and completing the entry procedures, the whole team was warmly welcomed by the local Organizing Committee and supported to move to the bus.
After about 2 hours of travel, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team arrived at the military hotel. The players quickly settled down, ate and rested to recover their physical condition after a long journey.

By the afternoon of November 21, the team had entered its first training session on the training ground in Hamamatsu city. The training session mainly includes light exercise, endurance running, relaxation and getting used to local weather, in which the outside temperature is about 14 degrees Celsius. This is quite cold weather compared to the conditions in Vietnam, requiring players to have time to adapt.
Regarding the force, the Vietnam women's team lacks the services of defenders Chuong Thi Kieu and midfielder Nguyen Thi Van in this training session because both are in the process of being treated for injuries and have not recovered in time to join the team.

According to the plan, the Vietnam women's team will play 3 friendly matches during the training period in Japan, respectively on November 24, 26 and November 28, against the women's teams of Aichi Toho University, Shizuoka Sangyo and Shizouka SSU Bonita club.
These will be important tests to help the coaching staff evaluate their performance, test the squad and improve their expertise before aiming to protect their achievements at the 33rd SEA Games.
