According to Chinese media, as soon as it landed at Dai Hung International Airport (Beijing), a collection of artifacts from the U23 team was handed over to the museum.
Including the national team flag, the ball with full signatures of the players, the playing shoes of defender Bang Khieu, goalkeeper's gloves of Li Hao and many other items associated with the competition process at the tournament.
The preservation of the artifacts at the Chinese Sports Museum is considered an honor for the efforts and fighting spirit of coach Antonio Puche and his team.
The country's media commented that the artifacts are not only of commemorative value but also reflect the progress in the bravery, organization and fighting spirit of Chinese youth football in the context that the team is in the renovation phase.
The above collection will not only be permanently displayed but also participate in mobile exhibitions at home and abroad. It is expected that the U23 China memorabilia will appear at many sports and cultural events, including the "China House" display area on the sidelines of the Milan Winter Olympics 2026 taking place in February. Through this, the organizers expect to introduce images of young Chinese athletes to international friends.
On the day of return, the U23 Chinese players also attracted attention when wearing shirts printed with slogans expressing determination towards the future. Notably, the whole team awarded the silver medal of the tournament to Dr. Yao Kang - a member of the medical board who was forced to leave the team early due to eye problems, as a thank you for his silent contributions throughout the team's journey.
