The Vietnamese women's volleyball team closed the 2024 SEA V.League with the runner-up title in both stages. Although they could not win against the Thai women's volleyball team, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team played hard, showing their bravery and showing each individual's strengths.
One of the players who performed excellently and contributed greatly to the team's title was Dinh Thi Tra Giang . Cong Cong, born in 1992, is the oldest player of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team participating in the recent tournament.
However, she still shows her strength and role in the team's fighting style. Possessing a height of 1m82, the ability to jump at a height of 3m05, good ball blocking range (2m97), and a strong grip on the net, Tra Giang always moves flexibly when playing on the field. Even though she plays in the supporting position, the Lang Son girl has a flexible playing style combined with skillful jumps and flexible wrists.
At many times, Tra Giang also plays the role of passer and blocker with the whole team. In the 32-year-old girl, people see a balance between attack and defense.
Tra Giang continued to participate in the national team participating in important international tournaments during this time, so she had the role of "big sister" of the team, not only in terms of age but also in terms of combat experience. She became an important fulcrum for her juniors, both in daily activities, in training, in competitions, and in activities.
