Tickets to watch the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2026 final between Vietnam and Thailand are being pushed up many times higher than the original price, in which a pair of tickets with a face value of 1.5 million VND/ticket is advertised for up to 9 million VND.
According to the announcement of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), tickets for the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2026 final between Vietnam and Thailand at My Dinh Stadium have 4 denominations including 500,000 VND, 800,000 VND, 1.2 million VND and 1.5 million VND/ticket. The match takes place at 8:00 PM on August 26.

Tickets were opened for online sale from August 20 and were quickly sought after by fans. VFF then announced that tickets were sold out in just a few hours, in the context that the Vietnamese team created a great advantage with a 2-0 victory over Thailand in the first leg final.
As the second leg final is approaching, the ticket market outside the official system becomes bustling. Ticket scalpers continuously offer tickets at the area around My Dinh Stadium and VFF headquarters.

According to records, black market ticket prices are currently many times higher than the par value issued by VFF. Pairs of tickets with a original price of 1.5 million VND/ticket, equivalent to 3 million VND/pair, are being advertised for up to 9 million VND/pair, areas with beautiful tickets are being advertised for 12 million VND/pair.
Thus, buyers must pay a price 3 times higher than the original price if they want to own this pair of tickets. For beautiful locations, the selling price can also be pushed higher depending on the time and demand.
Not only are the highest denomination tickets being pushed up in price, other types of tickets are also being advertised by ticket scalpers with large differences.

Area ticket pairs with a original price of 500,000 VND/ticket, equivalent to 1 million VND/pair, are being advertised at about 3.7-4 million VND/pair. This price is nearly 4 times higher than the original price.
Meanwhile, a pair of tickets with a face value of 1.2 million VND/ticket, the original price of 2.4 million VND/pair, is being offered for sale at about 7 million VND/pair.
The situation of ticket prices being pushed up stems from the high demand of fans. The Vietnamese team is facing the opportunity to defend the ASEAN Cup championship after winning 2-0 at Rajamangala Stadium in the first leg.
Besides, the second leg takes place at My Dinh Stadium, where fans expect to directly witness the moment when coach Kim Sang-sik and his team lift the championship trophy.
The free ticket market also hides risks for buyers, especially the risk of fake tickets, invalid tickets or being used beforehand. Fans need to be cautious when trading and prioritize official distribution channels.

With the attraction of the final match and the 2-0 advantage of the Vietnamese team, ticket demand is forecast to continue to increase as the kick-off time approaches. This may cause black market ticket prices to continue to fluctuate in the last hours before the match.
The second leg final of ASEAN Cup 2026 between Vietnam and Thailand takes place at 8:00 PM on August 26th at My Dinh Stadium.
