According to records on August 24, many people appeared selling tickets directly around My Dinh Stadium and Le Quang Dao street. Some ticket scalpers had tickets in hand, proactively inviting passersby to buy tickets to watch the second leg final.
Ticket prices offered on the unofficial market are significantly higher than the prices announced by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). In which, stand A tickets are advertised at about 7 million VND/pair, while tickets for stands B, C and D are at about 3 million VND/pair.
This price is much higher than the original ticket price, including 500,000 VND, 800,000 VND, 1.2 million VND and 1.5 million VND respectively depending on the stand area.
At some points around My Dinh Stadium, fans continuously stopped their cars to ask to buy tickets. However, before the high price, many people after asking the price chose not to buy.
A ticket seller said that the number of customers asking to buy is quite large and ticket prices can change daily, depending on supply and demand in the market.
The heat of the ticket market stems from the great interest in the second leg final. After a 2-0 victory over Thailand in the first leg, the Vietnamese team is holding a great advantage in the race to defend the ASEAN Cup championship.
The match at My Dinh Stadium is therefore expected to attract a large number of spectators. The need to directly watch the Vietnamese team play at home also creates conditions for the unofficial ticket market to operate actively before the match kicks off.
The second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2026 final between Vietnam and Thailand takes place at 8:00 PM on August 26th at My Dinh Stadium. With a 2-0 lead, coach Kim Sang-sik's team only needs to maintain the gap to aim for the championship at home.
