Esports World Cup 2026 is the 3rd edition of the World Esports Championship and is held for the first time outside Saudi Arabia, gathering more than 2,000 athletes from more than 200 clubs and over 100 countries, with a total prize pool of 75 million USD.
GAM Esports becoming the only Vietnamese club to participate in such a large-scale stage is a proud milestone for Esports (electronic sports) Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
At this year's congress, GAM participates with two teams: League of Legends and PUBG PC. The representative of Vietnam will officially enter the competition from July 15 in Paris (France).
Before the tournament, GAM Esports released a 5-minute documentary, recording the organization's development journey from 2017 to the present. Not only is it the story of a team, the film is a tribute to generations of players, fans and companions who have gradually brought Esports Vietnam closer to the biggest stage on the planet.
The release of the film is associated with a historical milestone. Accordingly, GAM Esports is the only official partner from Vietnam in the network of 40 official club partners of Esports World Cup 2026, standing shoulder to shoulder with leading Esports organizations in the world. This is not only GAM's own pride, but also proof that Vietnam deserves a position among the largest Esports nations globally.
GAM Esports is the leading Esports organization in Vietnam, operating in many disciplines including League of Legends, Lien Quan Mobile (AOV), Valorant, Free Fire, TFT and PUBG PC.
They have contributed key athletes, representing Vietnam to compete in major sports events. They represented Vietnam in the League of Legends event at SEA Games 31 at home and won a historic gold medal.
