Not only a means of transportation, Hanoi metro is about to become an e-sports experience space with many competitions, exchanges and interactions for people, especially young people.
According to information from Hanoi Railway Company Limited (Hanoi Metro), the program "Metro Urban Touchpoint - Hanoi Metro eSports Week 2026" will be organized in coordination with Visa, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), FPT Online and Hanoi Metro.
The series of activities is expected to take place at many key stations, combining e-sports, non-contact payment technology and urban cultural experiences.
The highlight of the event is the VMC Queens Open 2026 final, scheduled to be held on May 29 at Cat Linh station. This is an eSports tournament for women, aiming to build a healthy competitive playground and honor the talents of women in the field of e-sports.
In addition to watching matches, passengers can also directly participate in interactive activities such as sparring matches, minigames, receiving gifts and interacting with cosplay characters appearing on trains.
Some faces loved by young people such as Ha Vi, Zia and Hwi will also participate in the program.
In addition to entertainment activities, the event also brings a journey to explore urban culture through the "Hanoi Metro Quest" program at Cau Giay stations, Hanoi National University, Chua Ha and Le Duc Tho.
Participants will receive an "event passport", perform challenges, collect stamps and exchange gifts according to the experience journey.
According to the organizers, the program aims to promote the habit of non-cash payments, and at the same time encourage people to use public transport, contributing to forming a green and modern lifestyle in urban areas.
The series of events lasting more than a month will close with a music festival with the participation of singer My My and many exchange and experience activities for passengers.
