After 6 days of competition (from 20 to 25.); the Asian Mute Championship ended with an overwhelming achievement of the Vietnamese team.
We won a total of 46 medals, including 14 gold medals, 16 silver medals and 16 bronze medals, thereby firmly leading the total rankings.
The UAE delegation ranked second with 8 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 4 bronze medals. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan ranked third with 7 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 6 bronze medals.
In addition, Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia are in the group from 4th to 7th place with more modest medals.
The 2025 Asian Muay Thai Tournament brings together more than 300 coaches, athletes and referees from 19 countries and territories, competing in 50 sets of medals in the competition weightings and technical performance events.

Sharing after the tournament, head coach of the Vietnam Muay Thai team - Mr. Duong Ngoc Hai highly appreciated the progress of the athletes.
"Compared to previous tournaments, the professional quality of the team has been improved. But we must not be subjective.
Rivers like Thailand, Kazakhstan or the UAE are still very strong. Therefore, the whole team needs to continue to make efforts to maintain their form in the upcoming international tournaments," Mr. Hai emphasized.
The success of this tournament is a clear demonstration of the right direction in investing and training Muay in Vietnam, while creating positive psychological momentum for the players in the coming big matches of the year.
