On the afternoon of February 24, Hong Linh Ha Tinh entered the quarter-final match against Dong Thap determined to win. Rated higher than the opponent, the Hong Mountain team played confidently in the first minutes but they were soon overwhelmed with cold water.
In the 6th minute, U19 Vietnam player Le Huynh Trieu took advantage of the opportunity to score, opening the score for Dong Thap with an accurate shot.
Unexpectedly conceding a goal, Hong Linh Ha Tinh rushed forward to attack but encountered a well-organized defense of Dong Thap. Throughout the first half, the Hungarian team calmly defended, neutralizing many dangerous situations of Hong Linh Ha Tinh. The first 45 minutes passed without any more goals being scored.
Entering the second half, Hong Linh Ha Tinh's great pressure took effect. In the 60th minute, Dang Duc Quang scored to help the Central region representative find an equalizer. In the final minutes of the second half, the match was tense with many fierce disputes.
However, no more goals were scored. In the lucky penalty shootout, Dong Thap was the ones who were more courageous and won with a score of 6-5.
In the remaining match of the same day, Ba Ria - Vung Tau with high performance since the beginning of the tournament showed confidence when facing Ho Chi Minh City. But like the remaining quarter-finals, the teams that were rated lower all played very resiliently and defend focused.
During the first half, the attacking efforts of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau team did not bring many results. They accepted to go into the break without any goals scored.
Entering the second half, in the situation of taking part in the attack, central defender Truong Nhac Minh's decisive shot scored the opening goal to break the deadlock for Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
The HCMC team attacked strongly but they could only create opportunities without being able to penetrate the opponent's net. In the end, Ba Ria - Vung Tau won 1-0 and entered the semi-finals.
Thus, the 2024-2025 National U19 finals have determined all 4 teams in the semi-finals including: PVF, Song Lam Nghe An, Dong Thap and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
