Hanoi - The truck was traveling on Thang Long Avenue when it suddenly caught fire fiercely, the cabin of the truck was completely burned down.

The hotline of Lao Dong Newspaper received information about the incident that occurred at nearly 7:00 p.m. on February 24. At this time, the truck was moving on the Thang Long Avenue service road (towards the suburbs), when it reached the intersection with Me Tri Thuong Street (Me Tri Ward, Nam Tu Liem District), it suddenly caught fire.

Ms. Le Thi Ha (living near the scene) said the fire started from the front of the car and then flared up fiercely.

When the fire broke out, the driver escaped from the vehicle and together with many people used mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but failed.

"After about 10-15 minutes, the front of the car was almost burned down," said Ms. Ha.

After receiving the report, the authorities dispatched firefighting vehicles to the scene. After about a few minutes, the fire was controlled.

Recorded at the scene at nearly 8:00 p.m., the truck was parked in the left lane of Thang Long Boulevard, the front of the truck was completely burned down. Traffic police were also present to regulate and divert traffic.

Initial information shows that the fire did not cause any human casualties, and property is being counted.

The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
