According to Lao Dong's investigation, the Organizing Committee of the VTV9-Binh Dien International Volleyball Tournament 2026 has a list of 8 participating teams.
Among them, 5 Vietnamese teams include VTV Binh Dien Long An (host), LPBank Ninh Binh, Binh Chung Thong Tin, Vietinbank and Hanoi. 3 guest teams are Gunma Green Wings (Japan), Suwon (Korea) and Jiangsu (China).
The tournament will be held in Tay Ninh from May 15 to May 23. The host team, VTV Binh Dien Long An, will participate in the Hung Vuong Cup 2026 and then return to their hometown for training to be ready to compete in the VTV9-Binh Dien Cup 2026. In 2024, VTV Binh Dien Long An team ranked 4th in the tournament, so coach Ngoc Hoa and players are determined to improve their performance in this year's tournament.
The VTV9-Binh Dien 2026 International Volleyball Tournament also allows Vietnamese teams to increase foreign players to register for competition. Currently, VTV Binh Dien Long An team has confirmed that there will continue to be 2 players Lianet García Anglada, Regla Martínez Ortiz playing in Tay Ninh.
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and the Hanoi team also said that they will bring the strongest squad to participate in the tournament in Tay Ninh this time. The team was awarded a spot to participate after a representative of the Philippines volleyball team could not come to Vietnam.
In May, the Organizing Committee of the VTV9-Binh Dien International Volleyball Tournament 2026 will draw the professional scores of the groups.
