Vietnamese cyclists win second gold medal at Asian tournament

Cyclist To Hoang Khanh Lan became the second athlete of the Vietnamese road cycling team to win a gold medal at the 2025 Asian tournament.

On the morning of February 12, in the women's road race, cyclist To Hoang Khanh Lan excellently became the first athlete to cross the finish line to win the second gold medal for the Vietnamese road cycling team at the 2025 Asian Road Cycling Championship.

To Hoang Khanh Lan is a very special athlete of Vietnamese cycling because she started out as a bodybuilder. Khanh Lan always maintains a strict training regimen and has achieved many impressive results in both sports she is pursuing.

Previously, on February 8, in the 60 and over category of the 2025 Asian Road Cycling Championship taking place in Thailand, "veteran" Hoang Hai Nam excelled as the first athlete to cross the finish line to win the first gold medal for the Vietnamese road cycling team in this tournament.

The 2025 Asian Road Cycling Championship will take place from February 7 to 16 in Phitsanulok, Thailand. However, before the tournament started, the Vietnamese road cycling team had an unfortunate accident when a vehicle carrying competition equipment, including about 30 specialized competition bicycles, caught fire.

The Thai Cycling Association and the Vietnam Cycling and Motor Sports Federation have taken timely steps to support the Vietnamese road cycling team so that they have enough equipment to compete.
