On Tuesday's trading day, world oil prices continued to be high as the market struggled between two opposing factors: the risk of supply disruption due to US-Iran tensions and the Houthi maritime blockade declaration, while expectations of a temporary ceasefire are curbing the upward momentum of oil prices.
In the short term, oil prices are likely to continue to fluctuate strongly in the face of unpredictable developments in the Middle East conflict and the US-Iran negotiation process.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world gasoline and oil market in this operating period is affected by key factors such as: The re-emergence of attacks between the US and Iran; the US announces the re-imposement of blockades on Iran's coast, ports, and oil storage facilities; Iran announces the closure of the Strait of Hormuz; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, Ukraine focuses on attacking Russian oil refineries; Russia bans diesel oil exports... The above factors mainly caused the world finished gasoline and oil prices to increase in recent days.
The selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items on the market on July 21 are as follows:
- E5RON92 gasoline: Not higher than 19,826 VND/liter, lower than E10RON95-III gasoline by 724 VND/liter;
- E10RON95-III gasoline: Not higher than 20,550 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil 0.05S: Not higher than 23,329 VND/liter;
- 180CST 3.5S mazut oil: Not higher than 14,459 VND/kg.
