World oil prices fell more than 1%, to a 4-month low, as US-Iran talks made positive progress, traffic through the Strait of Hormuz gradually recovered, and the market expects OPEC+ to continue to increase production from August.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world gasoline and oil market in this operating period is affected by key factors such as: Appearing retaliatory attacks between the US and Iran; positive signs in negotiations between the US and Iran; OPEC+ has the potential to increase oil production from August; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, focusing heavily on each other's oil and gas facilities... The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on each item.
The average world finished petroleum product price between the price adjustment period on June 25, 2026 and the price adjustment period on July 2, 2026 is: 98.166 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON92 gasoline (down 4.100 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 4.01%); 100.092 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline used to blend E10 RON95-III gasoline (down 4.366 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 4.18%); 111.800 USD/barrel of diesel oil 0.05S (up 0.414 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.37%); 432.810 USD/ton of mazut oil 180CST 3.5S (down 22.920 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 5.03%).
The selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items on the market on July 2nd are as follows:
- E5 RON92 gasoline: not higher than 19,730 VND/liter, 685 VND/liter lower than E10RON95-III gasoline;
- E10 RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 20,415 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 21,176 VND/liter;
- 180CST 3.5S fuel oil: not higher than 14,053 VND/kg;
