According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world gasoline and oil market in this operating period is affected by key factors such as: US economic pressure on Iran; Iran and Oman exchanging and discussing details of agreements related to controlling the Ormuz Strait; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, continuing to focus heavily on energy facilities, oil refineries... The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on the item.
The average world finished petroleum product price between the price adjustment period on August 20, 2026 and the operating period on August 27, 2026 is: 112.398 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON92 gasoline (down 0.272 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.24%); 116.318 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline used to blend E10 RON95-III gasoline (down 0.272 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.23%); 156.488 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 3.824 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.39%); 611.508 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S mazut oil (up 17.910 USD/ton, equivalent to an increase of 3.02%).
The selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items in the domestic market in the operating period on August 27 are as follows:
- E5 RON92 gasoline: not higher than 21, 763 VND/liter, lower than E10RON95-III gasoline by 839 VND/liter;
- E10 RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 22, 602 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 28,084 VND/liter;
- 180CST 3.5S mazut oil: not higher than 18,140 VND/kg.
