Gasoline and oil price stabilization fund, some types reduced by 2,706 VND/liter

Implementing Resolution No. 36/NQ-CP dated March 6, 2026 of the Government on the Regular Government Meeting in February 2026, implementing Decision No. 441/QD-BCT dated March 10, 2026 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on applying measures to use the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund, the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance decides on a gasoline and oil price management plan combining gasoline and oil price stabilization and domestic gasoline and oil price adjustment.

In the price management session at 11:45 PM on March 10, 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade informed that it has implemented the provision and use of the Gasoline and Oil Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and oil items as follows:

- Biofuel: 4,000 VND/liter;

- Unleaded gasoline: 4,000 VND/liter;

- Diesel oil: 5,000 VND/liter;

- Kerosene: 4,000 VND/liter;

- Mazut oil: 4,000 VND/kg.

After implementing the provision and use of the Gasoline and Oil Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and oil products, the selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil products on the market are as follows:

- E5RON92 gasoline: not higher than 26,570 VND/liter (an increase of 1,344 VND/liter compared to the current base price, equivalent to an increase of 5.33%), lower than RON95-III gasoline by 2,550 VND/liter;

- RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 29,120 VND/liter (an increase of 2,073 VND/liter compared to the current base price, equivalent to an increase of 7.66%);

- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 30. 717 VND/liter (an increase of 478 VND/liter compared to the current base price, equivalent to an increase of 1.58%);

not higher than 32,385 VND/liter (down 2,706 VND/liter compared to the current base price, equivalent to a decrease of 7.71%);

- 180CST 3.5S mazut oil: not higher than 24,707 VND/kg (an increase of 3,380 VND/kg compared to the current base price, equivalent to an increase of 15.85%).

If the Gasoline and Oil Price Stabilization Fund is not used, the base prices of commonly consumed gasoline and oil items on the market in this period (March 10, 2026) compared to the current price (the previous operating period, March 7, 2026) are as follows:

- E5RON92 gasoline is at 30,570 VND/liter, an increase of 5,344 VND/liter, equivalent to an increase of 21.18%;

- RON95-III gasoline at 33,120 VND/liter, an increase of 6,073 VND/liter, equivalent to an increase of 22.45%;

- Diesel oil 0.05S is at 35,717 VND/liter, an increase of 5,478 VND/liter, equivalent to an increase of 18.12%;

- Kerosene is at 36,385 VND/liter, an increase of 1,294 VND/liter, equivalent to an increase of 3.69%;

- 180CST 3.5S mazut oil is at 28,707 VND/kg, an increase of 7,380 VND/kg, equivalent to an increase of 34.60%.
