Towards the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, these days, Detention Center No. 1 (Hung Yen Provincial Police) is implementing many activities to propagate and disseminate the law on elections to prisoners and inmates.
Not only preparing conditions to serve the election day in accordance with regulations, officers and soldiers of the unit also contribute to helping people who are complying with the law better understand their citizens' rights and responsibilities.
In the premises of the detention center, the official list of candidates for National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels is posted in convenient locations for detainees and inmates to easily follow.
Under the guidance of prison guards, prisoners and inmates learned about the biographies and action programs of candidates, and at the same time grasped the basic provisions of the law related to elections.

For prison guard officers and soldiers, election propaganda is not only a political task but also a part of the process of educating and reforming wrongdoers.
Through legal dissemination sessions, detention center officials explain and guide detainees and inmates to understand that even during the time of law enforcement, when they meet the conditions according to regulations, they are still allowed to exercise their right to vote.
In parallel with propaganda work, Detention Center No. 1 also proactively prepared the necessary conditions for the organization of elections for prisoners and inmates to take place in accordance with regulations, ensuring security and safety. The compilation of voter lists, posting of candidate information and preparing facilities for voting were seriously and closely implemented.
