According to the forecast in the operating session next week, gasoline prices may decrease simultaneously.

World oil prices reversed to increase after consecutive price decreases. At the end of the trading session at the end of the weekend, both oil products increased simultaneously. WTI crude oil was at 60.88 USD/barrel, up 0.40 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.66%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 60.48 USD/barrel (the lowest closing price since May 30), and opened the weekend session at 60.71 USD/barrel.

Brent oil was at 64.53 USD/barrel, up 0.42 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.66%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 6411 USD/barrel (the lowest closing price since June 2) and opened the weekend session at 64.38 USD/barrel.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world petroleum market in the recent management period (from September 25, 2025 to October 1, 2025) was affected by main factors such as: OPEC+ increased oil production in October and is expected to continue to increase in November; US crude oil inventories increased; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, Ukraine increased attacks on Russian energy facilities... The above factors have caused world petroleum prices in recent days to fluctuate up and down depending on each commodity.

According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease.

In the recent adjustment session (October 2), the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 6 VND, at 19,624 VND/liter. RON 95-III gasoline price increased by 44 VND/liter, at 20,209 VND/liter.
