According to a survey at 3:30 p.m. on June 29 (Vietnam time), WTI oil price increased by 0.28 USD/barrel (up 0.43%), to 65.52 USD/barrel. Brent oil price increased by 0.11 USD/barrel (up 0.16%), to 66.80 USD/barrel.
World oil prices fell sharply last week due to geopolitical risks in the Middle East cooling down, while excess supply and weak demand prospects continued to put pressure on prices.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world oil market this week (from June 19, 2025 to June 25, 2025) is affected by main factors such as: conflict between Israel and Iran in the Middle East; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues... The above factors have caused world oil prices in recent days to fluctuate depending on each commodity.
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease sharply.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 1,200-1,400 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 1,00-1,200 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 900-1,200 VND/liter
Domestic retail gasoline prices on June 29, 2025 will be applied according to the adjustment session from 3:00 p.m. on June 26 of the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade.
In the adjustment session on June 26, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased compared to the previous adjustment period, at VND20,511/liter (up VND280/liter). RON 95-III gasoline price increased compared to the previous adjustment period, priced at VND 21,507/liter (up VND 263/liter).
Prices of oil products have also increased simultaneously. Of which, diesel 0.05S is priced at VND19,5707/liter (up VND511/liter); kerosene has a new price of VND19417/liter (up VND494/liter); mazut is priced at VND17,269/kg (down VND374/kg).
