Domestic coffee prices today
Coffee prices today in the domestic market have not recorded a newer update table on giacaphe. com. According to the latest data being displayed, the average coffee price at the end of last week's session was 96,900 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to the previous day. The highest price in key regions of the Central Highlands was recorded at 97,000 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong, coffee prices were recorded at 96,300 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to the previous session. This is the lowest level among regions with detailed data.
In Gia Lai, coffee price is at 96,800 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg.
The old Dak Nong area recorded a level of 97,000 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg compared to the previous day. This is the highest level among areas with detailed data.
World coffee prices
In the world market, coffee prices in the last session of the week diễn biến trái chiều (developed in opposite directions).
According to Barchart, the Arabica contract for September 2026 closed the weekend session up 13.90 US cents/lb, equivalent to 4.32%, to 335.55 US cents/lb.
Conversely, the September 2026 Robusta futures contract fell 11 USD/ton, equivalent to 0.29%, to 3,798 USD/ton.
This development shows that the increase is mainly concentrated in Arabica, while Robusta - a group that has a more direct impact on Vietnamese coffee prices - is still slightly decreasing.
Coffee price assessment
Domestic coffee prices temporarily hold around 97,000 VND/kg in the context that world Robusta has not recovered. Although Arabica has increased sharply, domestic purchasing prices are unlikely to clearly rebound if London Robusta still fluctuates weakly.
According to Barchart, Arabica increased sharply due to the weakening USD and Arabica stocks certified on ICE fell to a 2.5-year low. This is a clearer supporting factor for Arabica, while Robusta still suffered slight pressure in the last session of the week.
Regarding domestic weather, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that on the day and night of August 9, the Central Highlands area will be cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places; especially in the afternoon and night, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Lowest temperature 20-23 degrees C, highest 26-29 degrees C.
This season's thunderstorms need to be monitored in terms of garden care, pest and disease prevention, and goods preservation.
Domestic coffee prices today do not have a newer list, while world prices are strongly differentiated between Arabica and Robusta. In the coming sessions, Robusta London developments, USD/VND exchange rate and demand for export purchases will continue to dominate domestic coffee prices.
