Domestic rice prices decrease

    Today, March 26, 2025, domestic rice prices decreased slightly. In Hanoi, many supermarkets are adjusting the prices of some types of rice to stimulate consumption.

    Domestic rice prices today (March 26) recorded slight fluctuations in the Mekong Delta. Raw rice prices continue to decrease, some fresh rice products also turn to decrease.

    According to data from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the price of OM 5451 (fresh) rice today decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating around 5,700 - 5,900 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 (fresh) rice decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 6,400 - 6,500 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 (fresh) rice decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 6,400 - 6,600 VND/kg...

    Recorded in Hanoi, on March 26, many supermarkets are implementing promotional and discount programs for many types of rice.

    At GO supermarket! Long Bien (Long Bien District, Hanoi), 5kg of Neptune ST24 specialty rice has decreased from 198,900 VND/bag to 140,000 VND/bag. Neptune ST25 rice weight 5kg also decreased from 228,900 VND/bag to 178,500 VND/bag, the program will be applied until May 7, 2025. In addition, the 5kg ST25 Kingua Luoi Tom rice price has decreased from 249,000 VND/bag to 190,900 VND/bag.

    Many other promotional programs are applied to rice products to attract customers such as: buying 2 GO Rice bags! ST25 Shrimp Rice 5kg for 359,000 VND (down 51,000 VND compared to 205,000 VND/bag when buying only 1 bag); or buy 2 GO Rice bags! The Premier League 5kg for only 260,000 VND, while buying 1 bag is 165,000 VND/bag...

    Recorded at Winmart Long Bien supermarket (Long Bien district, Hanoi), ST25 Ngoc Nuong 3kg rice decreased from 115,000 VND/bag to 87,000 VND/bag; ST25 Ngoc Nuong Truyen San 3kg rice was adjusted from 123,000 VND/bag to 97,900 VND/bag; 1kg Simply brown rice costed at 66,600 VND/bag...

    In the export market, Vietnam's export rice prices today are flat compared to the beginning of the week. According to the Vietnam Food Association, standard 5% rice is currently at 398 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 369 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 313 USD/ton.
