Bac Kan - Initial assessment is that the sinkhole may appear due to weak geological foundation and no human impact.

Currently, the authorities have put up warning signs and temporarily banned vehicles to ensure safety.

The sinkhole is about 7m long, 5m deep, and about 5m in circumference. People in the surrounding area said that on the evening of March 28, there was a loud noise, and in the morning, a sinkhole was discovered on the road.

After receiving the information, the Department of Construction of Bac Kan coordinated with specialized agencies to the scene. At the same time, the cause of subsidence in this area is being determined.

Initial assessment is that the sinkhole may have appeared due to weak geological foundation, without human impact. The Department of Construction will temporarily repair the problem to restore traffic for people to travel.
