Recording gas prices of Petrolimex Gas Corporation today, August 1, shows that the retail price level has increased in many provinces and cities compared to the update on July 31. In which, Da Nang is the area recording the strongest increase, while Hai Phong maintains the selling price unchanged.
In the Northern region, Petrolimex gas prices in Hanoi have been adjusted upwards. Specifically, 12kg domestic gas cylinders are currently listed at 518,400 VND, an increase of 16,200 VND compared to the previous period. For 48kg industrial gas cylinders, the selling price increased by 64,800 VND, to 2,073,600 VND.
Meanwhile, in Hai Phong, Petrolimex gas prices have not been recorded to change. 12-kg gas cylinders continue to be sold at 489,888 VND, while 48kg cylinders remain at 1,959,552 VND.
In the Central region, the Da Nang market recorded the most notable increase. The price of a 12kg gas cylinder increased by 55,000 VND, reaching 538,000 VND. For a 48kg industrial gas cylinder, the selling price increased by 220,000 VND, reaching 2,067,000 VND.
In the Southern region, Petrolimex gas prices were also adjusted upwards. In Ho Chi Minh City, a 12kg gas cylinder currently costs 552,000 VND, an increase of 30,000 VND, while a 48kg cylinder increased by 120,000 VND, reaching 2,204,000 VND.
In Can Tho, the retail price of 12kg gas cylinders has been raised to 520,000 VND, an increase of 35,000 VND. 48kg gas cylinders are currently at 2,080,000 VND, an increase of 140,000 VND compared to the previous period.
According to records, after price increases in many areas, the average gas price of Petrolimex between localities continues to vary. In the survey group, Hai Phong is the place with the lowest price of a 12kg cylinder with 489,888 VND, while Ho Chi Minh City recorded the highest price at 552,000 VND/12kg cylinder.
