Recording gas prices of Petrolimex Gas Corporation today, August 19, shows that the market continues to maintain a new price level after the first adjustment period of the month. Price levels at Petrolimex have not recorded any further fluctuations compared to the previous update session.
In the Northern region, Petrolimex gas prices in Hanoi are currently listed at 518,400 VND/12kg cylinder and 2,073,600 VND/48kg cylinder. Meanwhile, in Hai Phong, retail gas prices are maintained at 506,088 VND/12kg cylinder and 2,024,352 VND/48kg cylinder. Compared to Hanoi, the price of a 12kg cylinder is 12,312 VND lower, and a 48kg cylinder is 49,248 VND lower.
In the Central region, the Da Nang market continues to remain stable after a sharp decrease at the beginning of the month. Specifically, Petrolimex gas prices in Da Nang are currently at 53.8 million VND/12kg cylinder and 2,067.000 VND/48kg cylinder.
In the South, Ho Chi Minh City continues to be the area with the highest 12kg gas cylinder price in the survey, with levels of 552,000 VND/12kg cylinder and 2,204,000 VND/48kg cylinder. Meanwhile, in Can Tho, the selling prices are 520,000 VND/12kg cylinder and 2,080,000 VND/48kg cylinder respectively.
According to records, Petrolimex's gas price today continued to stabilize after the adjustment in early August. Currently, the price of a 12kg gas cylinder ranges from 506,088 - 552,000 VND/cylinder, while a 48kg gas cylinder is commonly in the range of 2,024,352 - 2,204,000 VND/cylinder depending on the distribution area.
