In the Northern region, the price of live pigs has remained stable in most provinces and cities, with Tuyen Quang, Ninh Binh, and Lao Cai alone decreasing by 1,000 VND/kg. Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La have live pig prices at 60,000 VND/kg. Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Phu Tho, Hung Yen have the highest price of live pigs in the area at 62,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, the price of live pigs today decreased sharply in many provinces and cities. Of which, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An decreased by 3,000 VND/kg to 58,000 VND/kg. Ha Tinh decreased by VND 2,000/kg to VND 58,000/kg. Hue, Quang Ngai decreased by VND 2,000/kg to VND 57,000/kg. Some provinces have decreased by 1,000 VND/kg such as Quang Tri, Da Nang (to 57,000 VND/kg), Khanh Hoa (to 60,000 VND/kg) and Lam Dong (to 63,000 VND/kg).
The price of live pigs in the Southern region is still the highest in the country, ranging from 64,000 - 65,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Nai, An Giang, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho have prices of 64,000 VND/kg. Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, Ca Mau, Vinh Long have prices of 65,000 VND/kg.
