In the Northern region, live pig prices decreased from 1,000 - 2,000 in localities, except for Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Cao Bang and Quang Ninh. After the adjustment, live pig prices in this region fluctuated in 2 levels of 74,000 VND/kg and 75,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, live pig prices simultaneously decreased by 1,000 VND/kg in 2 localities Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, to 73,000 VND. The remaining localities remained unchanged.
On the contrary, in the Southern region, live pig prices suddenly increased slightly. After adjustment, live pigs in Dong Thap and Vinh Long reached 71,000 VND/kg, Ca Mau and Can Tho reached the same level of 69,000 VND/kg, An Giang reached 67,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities remained stable.
