Hanoi City People's Committee and FPT Group organized the groundbreaking ceremony of the Digital and Mixed Technology Park Project in Tay Tuu and Phu Dien wards. The project was implemented to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress. This is a project in the field of technology, invested by FPT Group, oriented to contribute to the development of science, technology and innovation.
The project is an activity to implement Resolution No. 15-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building Hanoi Capital into a major center of economy, culture, education - training, science - technology and international integration, developing quickly, sustainably, and having a regional and national spread.
At the same time, the project is also an important step concretizing the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, in which the development of science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation are decisive factors for the country to develop richly and strongly in the new era.
The project has a total scale of 196.8 ha, designed, built and operated according to green building criteria, aiming for sustainable development, while creating a continuous living - working - creative environment model (Work - Live - Innovate).
In which, the focus is on concentrated digital technology parks, innovation and digital transformation with an area of about 168.9ha. The remaining area of the park area is organized according to the open park model, with internal transport infrastructure, green space, water surface, creating a high-quality working, research and living environment. The implementation period is from 2026 to 2031, striving to complete and put into operation the first item in 2027.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung emphasized that the Digital Technology Park is oriented by Hanoi city to become an important nucleus in the innovation ecosystem of the Capital, associated with the goal of building Hanoi into a major center of science, technology and digital economy for the whole country.
More importantly, this is a new implementation organization model, capable of creating a leading impact, creating an important motivation for Hanoi to improve the quality of human resources, forming a community of innovation that is large enough and capable of spreading" - Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung said.
The Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee believes that the project will be successfully implemented, opening a new, dynamic and sustainable development phase for Hanoi Capital, where technology ignites creativity, knowledge creates motivation and people are the center of all development.
Also at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Gia Binh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Corporation - said that FPT has now become a corporation with nearly 90,000 people, revenue from foreign markets reaching about 2 billion USD per year.
