In particular, many provinces and cities increased by 1,000 VND/kg such as: Lai Chau, Dien Bien (up 49,000 VND/kg), Cao Bang, Lao Cai (up 50,000 VND/kg), Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Phu Tho, Hung Yen (up 51,000 VND/kg). Son La alone increased the price of live pigs to VND 2,000/kg (up to VND 50,000/kg).
In the Central region, the price of live pigs ranges from 46,000 - 49,000 VND/kg. In particular, Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa have stewed pig prices by VND 1,000/kg, up to VND 49,000/kg, equal to Lam Dong, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An. Ha Tinh increased by VND 2,000/kg, to VND 48,000/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs ranges from 48,000 - 50,000 VND/kg. Of which, 3 localities have increased the price of live pigs by VND 1,000/kg to VND 50,000/kg: Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City. Vinh Long has the lowest import price of live pigs in the region at 48,000 VND/kg.
