In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today has improved with many localities increasing by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg. In particular, some localities increased by 1,000 VND/kg such as: Lao Cai, Lai Chau (up to 48,000 VND/kg), Cao Bang, Lang Son (up to 49,000 VND/kg), Bac Ninh, Phu Tho, Hung Yen (up to 50,000 VND/kg). Some provinces and cities have increased the price of live pigs by 2,000 VND/kg such as: Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh (up to 50,000 VND/kg), Hai Phong, Ninh Binh (up to 51,000 VND/kg).
In the Central region, the price of live pigs today also increased in 4 localities. Of which, 2 provinces have increased the price of live pigs by 1,000 VND/kg: Gia Lai (up to 47,000 VND/kg) and Dak Lak (up to 48,000 VND/kg). 2 provinces with live pig prices increasing by 2,000 VND/kg are Thanh Hoa and Nghe An (up to 49,000 VND/kg).
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today is flat, ranging from 47,000 - 50,000 VND/kg. Of which, Ca Mau is the locality with the highest price of live pigs at 50,000 VND/kg and Vinh Long is the locality with the lowest price of live pigs at 47,000 VND/kg.
