In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today has remained stable for many consecutive days, fluctuating between 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. The provinces holding the level of 69,000 VND/kg include Hanoi, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang. Localities such as Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh are trading at 68,000 VND/kg - this is the lowest level in the region.
In the Central - Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs has a slight differentiation between provinces. Of which, the price of live pigs in Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan decreased by VND 1,000/kg to VND 68,000/kg and VND 71,000/kg respectively.
Some areas also buy live pigs at the price of 68,000 VND/kg, such as Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Quang Nam, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa. Meanwhile, Lam Dong and Binh Thuan continue to be the two leading localities in the region with 72,000 VND/kg.
In the southern provinces, the price of live pigs today also decreased slightly by VND 1,000/kg in Binh Phuoc and Bac Lieu, with prices of VND 72,000/kg and VND 71,000/kg respectively. Localities holding the mark of 73,000 VND/kg include Dong Nai and Ba Ria Vung Tau - this is also the highest price in the country. Ben Tre continues to be the province with the lowest price in the region at 70,000 VND/kg.
