In the Central region, the price of live pigs in many provinces and cities such as Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, and Hue also decreased by VND 1,000/kg, to VND 61,000/kg. Gia Lai, although the price is flat, is still the locality with the lowest price of live pigs in the country at 60,000 VND/kg. Lam Dong is the locality with the highest price of live pigs in the region at 64,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today ranges from 63,000 VND/kg (in Vinh Long) to 66,000 VND/kg (in Tay Ninh). Ca Mau, Vinh Long, Can Tho are 3 areas with live pig prices down 1,000 VND/kg. Dong Nai, Dong Thap, An Giang, Ho Chi Minh City have live pig prices of 64,000 VND/kg.
