In the North, the price of live pigs today decreased by 1,000 VND/kg in the provinces: Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho (to 63,000 VND/kg), Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Son La, Lai Chau, Dien Bien (to 62,000 VND/kg). Meanwhile, the price of live pigs in Hung Yen, Hanoi, Hai Phong is flat and is currently trading at 64,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, live pig prices in many localities have been adjusted down. Of which, Thanh Hoa, Khanh Hoa, Ha Tinh decreased by 1,000 VND/kg to 62,000 VND/kg, Quang Tri, Da Nang, Quang Ngai decreased by 1,000 VND/kg to 61,000 VND/kg. 2 provinces decreased by 2,000 VND/kg, Dak Lak and Lam Dong. Gia Lai also decreased 1,000 VND/kg to 60,000 VND/kg - the lowest price in the country.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs has also been adjusted down but is still at the highest level in the country. Of which, Dong Nai decreased by VND 2,000/kg, to VND 64,000/kg. Dong Thap, An Giang, Ho Chi Minh City also adjusted down 1,000 VND/kg to 64,000 VND/kg. Ca Mau and Tay Ninh are currently the two localities with the highest price of live pigs in the country at 66,000 VND/kg.
