In the Northern region, live pig prices slightly decreased in some localities. Specifically, live pigs in Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai, Phu Tho and Son La all decreased to 69,000 VND/kg after decreasing by 1,000 VND/kg. Also recording that decrease, live pigs in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Dien Bien and Hung Yen all reached the 70,000 VND/kg mark.
In the Central region, live pig prices today are generally stable, Khanh Hoa alone recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the purchase price back to 70,000 VND/kg. The general level of the whole region currently fluctuates in the range of 69,000 - 72,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, live hog prices remained unchanged. In which, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City still maintained the regional peak at 72,000 VND/kg. In the opposite direction, Can Tho maintained the lowest level in the region at 69,000 VND/kg.
