Comments and forecasts
In Vietnam, pepper prices unexpectedly increased sharply after Tet but the market has started to decline sharply in the coming days. The reason for the decline in pepper prices is that the supply from the new harvest has just begun to replenish.
Demand for consumption has been increasing steadily, but delays in exports and local pepper harvests have put pressure on prices.
Although pepper prices decreased today, the market is still in an upward trend thanks to the purchasing pace of important markets such as the United States and China, the price range can increase sharply or only about 10-15%.
Enterprises need to closely monitor market developments and purchasing movements from partners to have appropriate purchasing, storage and cash flow plans, both to increase output and export turnover and to ensure business efficiency.
