Accordingly, at a regular press conference on the afternoon of May 7 at the Ho Chi Minh City Press Center, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports said that it had received a complaint from the actress about being insulted in her honor by a person named "Long Voduy". Currently, the Department is handling it according to procedures, and the latest information will be announced later.
Previously, actress Bich Tram sent a petition to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports requesting consideration and verification of content related to a Facebook account named "Long Voduy". According to the actress, this account posted comments showing signs of insulting her honor and distorting her personal image on social networks.
The actress said she hopes that functional agencies will intervene to verify and handle if violations are detected, and at the same time protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens against false information in cyberspace.
In addition to sending a petition to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, the actress also reported the incident to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health because of suspicions that the Facebook account "Long Voduy" belonged to a doctor working at a hospital in the city.
Regarding the person mentioned, when reporters contacted him, this doctor denied posting content related to actress Bich Tram. This person said that there needed to be specific evidence to prove that the above Facebook account belonged to his management.
