Domestic pepper prices
As of 11:30 AM today (July 15), domestic pepper prices continued to increase, listed at 138,500 VND/kg. Currently, key areas are trading in the range of 137,000 - 140,000 VND/kg.
Domestic pepper prices increase in some areas. Currently, provinces and cities list prices as follows:
Gia Lai and Dong Nai simultaneously increased by another 500 VND/kg, listed at the mark of 137,000 VND/kg.
In the same direction, Ho Chi Minh City traded at the mark of 138,000 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, Lam Dong and Dak Lak offer for sale at the highest purchase price in the whole region of 140,000 VND/kg.
World pepper price
In the world market, pepper prices remain unchanged. Indonesian black pepper and white pepper are no exception, trading in the range of 7,079 - 9,198 USD/ton (equivalent to 187,240 VND/kg - 243,288 VND/kg).
Meanwhile, the price of black pepper in Brazil remained unchanged at the market selling price of 5,900 USD/ton (about 156,055 VND/kg). Notably, black and white pepper in Malaysia are still trading at high prices, respectively 12,250 USD/ton and 9,350 USD/ton.
In Vietnam's pepper export market, the price of black peppers of 500 g/l and 550 g/l is currently at 5,850 - 5,950 USD/ton. In the same direction, ASTA white pepper is offered for sale at 8,200 USD/ton (equivalent to 216,890 VND/kg).

Assessments and forecasts
Changes in the first two weeks of July 2026 show that the world pepper market has not yet formed a clear trend but is in a stage of adjustment and differentiation by producing country.
For Vietnam, maintaining stable export prices in the context of many volatile markets is a positive sign, contributing to creating proactiveness for businesses in implementing export contracts and limiting risks from short-term price fluctuations.
