Assessment and forecast
In recent years, the pepper industry has had a strong change when farmers raise awareness and actions in the production stage to meet the standards of clean and sustainable organic production. Garden owners strengthen linkages along the value chain and expand deep processing forms, bringing high-quality products, meeting domestic market demand as well as for export.
Regarding the pepper price outlook in the coming time, because the demand for pepper in major markets such as the US and EU is still high, pepper prices are expected to continue to fluctuate. In addition, garden owners still have the mentality of stocking goods instead of selling them to the market, causing limited supply, putting pressure on pepper prices.
