Assessment and forecast
The increase of 5,000 - 10,000 VND/kg of the domestic pepper market shows a strong recovery after a short period of stagnation. The simultaneous increase in pepper prices for many consecutive days reflects the improvement in purchasing demand of domestic enterprises and traders, as well as the expectation of an upward trend in the coming time.
While the domestic market has developed positively, export pepper prices in the world market tend to decrease slightly in some regions. This reflects the tug-of-war between limited supply and competitive pressure from international markets.
