This afternoon (September 30), in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee held a conference to announce the Decision of the Central Party Secretariat and the Decision of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee on personnel work.
Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia attended and spoke at the Conference.
At the Conference, delegates heard the announcement of Decision No. 2140-QDNS/TW of the Central Secretariat on the transfer and appointment of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
Accordingly, the Secretariat decided that Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee Tran Thanh Lam would cease to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and cease to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; transfer and appoint him to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
Speaking at the Conference, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that Mr. Tran Thanh Lam is a cadre who has received basic training, maturity from the local and grassroots levels; has been trained and challenged through many different positions, has qualities, abilities and practical experience.
With such valuable experience and maturity, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia hopes that the new Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department will continue to strive, promote a sense of responsibility, and be highly determined in implementing new and increasingly high requirements of ideological, propaganda and mass mobilization work in the current period.
For the cadres assigned to the new assignment, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Trong Nghia hopes to soon approach the work, continue to strive, unite, stick together, promote a sense of responsibility, meet the requirements of the tasks in the new period, and actively contribute to the successful implementation of assigned political tasks.
Sharing his honor and pride in returning to work at the Department, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Tran Thanh Lam shared that the time working in the heroic hometown of Dong Khoi was a very important and precious time to immerse himself in the vibrant practice of the grassroots area, improve leadership and management capacity, and implement Party work tasks in a locality rich in revolutionary traditions, patriotism, compassion and affection.
In full acceptance of the comments of the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Mr. Tran Thanh Lam promised to seriously start work, continue to promote the knowledge and experience learned through the working process, especially at the grassroots level, to make practical contributions to the overall development of the agency; always uphold the principle of solidarity, unity, respect, listening, promoting creativity, closely linking with the requirements of practice; at the same time, he hoped that the Head of the Department, leaders of the Department, and staff of the Department would help and create conditions to complete assigned tasks.
On this occasion, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee announced the decision to transfer and appoint: Chief of Office of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Do Van Dung to hold the position of Director, assisting the Head of the Committee; Director of the Propaganda Department Nguyen Que Lam to hold the position of Chief of Office of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; Mr. Nguyen Phu Truong, Director, Secretary of the Head of the Committee, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Democracy and State agencies, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, from July 1, 2025.
