On the afternoon of June 30, in Hanoi, the Central Internal Affairs Commission held a conference to implement the Politburo's decision on personnel work. Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission - chaired the Conference.
At the Conference, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Organizing Committee - announced Decision No. 2147-QDNS/TW, dated June 21, 2025 of the Politburo.
Accordingly, Mr. Le Hong Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee - ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; transferred, assigned, and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.
Speaking at the Conference, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac, on behalf of the Central Internal Affairs Commission's leaders, congratulated Mr. Le Hong Quang on being transferred, assigned and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.
Mr. Phan Dinh Trac emphasized that having held many positions in localities and the Central Government, with many outstanding achievements, Mr. Le Hong Quang is always considered a cadre with a strong political stance, point of view, and courage; has good moral qualities, a simple, modest, and calm lifestyle; always upholds the pioneering, exemplary, and responsible spirit of cadres, party members, committee members, and heads of local Party committees and committees; has a scientific, democratic, and correct working method; gathers, unites, unifies, promotes collective intelligence in leadership, direction of comprehensive implementation of political tasks of the agencies and localities where he works; creates high prestige and is trusted and trusted by cadres and party members.
With his training qualifications, professional capacity, experience, and practical work, Mr. Le Hong Quang has been trusted, transferred, assigned, and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission from July 1, 2025.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, Mr. Le Hong Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission - expressed his honor to be trusted by the Politburo to assign and appoint the Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; this is a particularly important milestone in the process of striving for work; also a great responsibility before the Party, before the people and before the high requirements of work in the new period.
Receiving the opinion assigning tasks from the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Mr. Le Hong Quang affirmed that he will continue to strive, together with the leaders of the Central Internal Affairs Commission to inherit and promote the tradition of solidarity and valuable experience of the Commission to do a good job of advising the Central Executive Committee of the Party, directly and regularly the Politburo and the Secretariat on policies and guidelines in the field of internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform.
