Domestic pepper prices: Green
As of 11:30 today (8.9), the domestic pepper market suddenly increased in all regions, an average of 140,800 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg. Currently, the price still fluctuates between 140,000 - 142,000 VND/kg.
simultaneously listed at 140,000 VND/kg are Gia Lai, Dong Nai provinces and Ho Chi Minh City, increasing by 1,000 VND/kg.
Lam Dong province increased by 1,000 VND/kg, keeping the same price as Dak Lak province at 141,000 VND/kg.
World pepper prices: Continue to increase
In the world market, pepper prices are mostly stable in many regions. In particular, the Indonesian exchange - one of the most vibrant markets continues to maintain its upward momentum, raising prices by 0.07% and 0.08%, respectively. Currently, these two items are traded between 7,147 - 9,991 USD/ton (equivalent to 188,681 VND/kg - 263,763 VND/kg).
On the other hand, the Brazilian market remains unchanged, with the trading price remaining unchanged at 6,000 USD/ton (about 158,400 VND/kg). Malaysia's black and white specks reached 12,500 USD/ton and 9,250 USD/ton.
In the pepper export market of Vietnam, the price of 500 g/l and 550 g/l black pepper is currently at 6,240 - 6,370 USD/ton. ASTA white pepper prices remained at 8,950 USD/ton (equivalent to 236,280 VND/kg).
