Domestic pepper prices: Continue to increase slightly
As of 11:30 today (8.8), the domestic pepper market is stable in most areas, except Lam Dong province. Currently, the price still fluctuates between 139,000 - 141,000 VND/kg.
simultaneously listed at 139,000 VND/kg are Gia Lai, Dong Nai provinces and Ho Chi Minh City.
Lam Dong province increased by 1,000 VND/kg, keeping the same price as Dak Lak province at 141,000 VND/kg.
World pepper prices: Maintain the increase
In the world market, pepper prices are mostly stable in many regions. The Indonesian exchange - one of the most vibrant markets - increased prices by 0.42% and 0.41%, respectively. Currently, these two items are traded between 7,142 - 9,983 USD/ton (equivalent to 188,549 VND/kg - 263,552 VND/kg).
On the other hand, the Brazilian market remains unchanged, with the trading price remaining unchanged at 6,000 USD/ton (about 158,400 VND/kg). Malaysia's black and white stocks remain at 11,750 USD/ton and 8,900 USD/ton.
In the pepper export market of Vietnam, the price of 500 g/l and 550 g/l black pepper is currently at 6,240 - 6,370 USD/ton. ASTA white pepper prices remained at 8,950 USD/ton (equivalent to 236,280 VND/kg).
