Retail gasoline and oil prices today, May 28th, at the Military Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (MIPEC) system continue to be maintained after the May 21st operating period of the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance:

According to the latest price list, RON 95-III unleaded gasoline is currently listed by MIPEC at 25, 540 VND/liter in region 1 (area near ports, wholesale warehouses and gasoline supply centers) and 26, 080 VND/liter in region 2 (area far from supply centers). This continues to be a popular gasoline item with high prices in the retail market.

Meanwhile, E10 RON 95-III bio-gasoline is currently sold at a price of VND 25,050/liter in region 1 and VND 25,550/liter in region 2. For E5 RON 92-II bio-gasoline, the current selling price is VND 24,340/liter in region 1 and VND 24,820/liter in region 2.

In the oil group, diesel 0.001S level 5 is currently sold by MIPEC at a price of 30,020 VND/liter in region 1 and 30,620 VND/liter in region 2. Diesel 0.05S level 2 is currently at 28,760 VND/liter in region 1 and 29,330 VND/liter in region 2.

According to records, the retail price level at MIPEC is currently equivalent to PVOIL and equal to Petrolimex in region 1. Meanwhile, the selling price in region 2 of Petrolimex and MIPEC is usually about 480-570 VND/liter higher due to additional transportation and distribution costs to areas far from the supply center.

Domestic gasoline and oil prices are still directly affected by fluctuations in world oil prices in the context that the global energy market continues to face supply concerns and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
