AN AN |

Forecast for the evening and night of May 28th, the North will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; from May 29th, widespread intense heat will end.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 27, in the Northern region, the area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang city, the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have intense heat, especially intense in some places; especially the Northern Delta, Phu Tho and North Central regions will have intense and especially intense heat.

The meteorological agency has forecast hot weather developments in the next 24-48 hours in some areas.

On May 28th, the Northern region (except Lai Chau, Dien Bien) will have hot weather, with intense heat in some places with the highest common temperature of 35-37 degrees Celsius, in some places above 38 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity is commonly from 50-55%. Hot time from 10 - 18 hours. In the evening and night of May 28th, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall of 15 - 30mm, locally heavy rain over 80mm. From May 29th, widespread intense heat will end.

The area from Thanh Hoa to Hue city has intense heat, especially intense in some places with the highest temperature commonly 37-39 degrees C, in some places above 39 degrees C. The relative lowest humidity is commonly from 45-50%. Hot time from 9 - 19 hours.

On May 29, the area from Quang Tri to Da Nang city, the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will be hot with the highest temperature commonly 35-36 degrees C, in some places above 36 degrees C. The relative lowest humidity is commonly from 55-60%. Hot time from 11 - 17 hours.

From May 30, widespread heat will end in the area from Quang Tri to Da Nang city and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak.

The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk due to hot weather is level 1.

Due to the influence of hot sun, intense and especially intense heat combined with low humidity in the air, there is a high risk of fires and explosions in residential areas due to increased electricity demand and the risk of forest fires. In addition, hot sun can also cause dehydration for the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.

Note that the forecast temperature in hot weather bulletins and the actual perceived temperature outside can differ from 2 - 4 degrees Celsius, or even higher depending on the condition of the buffer surface such as concrete and asphalt roads.
