The Hanoi People's Committee directed the Hanoi Investment - Trade and Tourism Promotion Center and relevant agencies to organize a market for specialties, gifts, handicrafts, and OCOP.
The opening ceremony of the event took place on the evening of December 25, attracting the attention of consumers. The event aims to enhance trade promotion activities, support advertising, introducing and finding outlets for handicraft products, souvenirs, OCOP, specialty products, typical and typical products of localities, thereby stimulating consumption.
The fair aims to support businesses in connecting to create a supply chain and sustainable consumption of products in the domestic market as well as for export. The organizers hope that this event will raise awareness and trust of consumers in the quality and brand of Vietnamese products, effectively implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese products".
There are 180 booths designed, decorated and set up to suit each field and the characteristics of each region, ready to serve the people. These are booths of provinces and cities across the country; booths introducing specialties, souvenirs; handicrafts, OCOP products of enterprises; space to promote the image and typical products of Hanoi; space to introduce culinary culture, connect trade...
Recently, departments and branches of Hanoi City have continuously organized festivals, fairs, and exhibitions to connect culture with tourism and craft villages, introducing and promoting OCOP products of the capital and the whole country. Typical examples include: Hanoi Tourism Festival, Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival, Hanoi Craft Village Food and Tourism Festival, Hanoi Fruit Festival, the first Hanoi Lotus Festival in 2024, the first Hanoi Ornamental Plants Festival in 2024... Thanks to that, thousands of OCOP products of localities and craft villages have been introduced, promoted, and become favorite destinations for many customers.
The market takes place from the evening of December 25 to December 29, at Royal City Commercial Center Square (72A Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan).
