More than 200 households in Lam Dong lost 161 tons of durian after storm No. 3
On the afternoon of July 23, Mr. Hong Viet Trung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bao Lam 3 commune - said that due to the impact of storm No. 3, in recent days, the weather in the area has been complicated, with frequent heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong gusts of wind.
The storm caused the roofs of two houses in village 10 to be blown off. The local government has mobilized police forces, militia and youth unions to support people in re-roofing their houses, helping to stabilize their lives.
A low-voltage power pole that was broken and another power pole that had fallen trees were also fixed. Landslides occurred on the inter-village road from village 1 to village 10, causing difficulties in traveling.

The People's Committee of Bao Lam 3 commune has directed the Economic Department to coordinate with the Commune Police and the Commune Military Command to urgently overcome the situation, ensuring safe traffic for the people.
In particular, heavy rain and thunderstorms have caused 108 durian trees that were being harvested to be uprooted and broken. It is estimated that about 161 tons of durian from more than 200 households were dumped, causing a loss of about 4.8 billion VND. See more...
Strong cash flow into stocks
After unblocking the 1,500-point bottleneck, investor sentiment was more excited and confident in investing, helping the VN-Index open the trading session on July 23 to increase by more than 10 points. However, many investors who want to make a profit should sell, causing pressure on the VN-Index to cool down and retreat closer to the reference.

However, in the current market context, along with the positive information about tariff negotiations between the US and major trading partners being published, the cash flow entering the market helps the VN-Index regain its upward momentum. When people expected the VN-Index to fly even higher, even reaching 1,530 points, this index suddenly turned around and decreased sharply in terms of reference.
This expectation failed due to the pressure of the group of stocks Vingroup when all 3 codes VHM, VRE, VIC had the strongest decrease in the VN30 group. The positive point is that the VN-Index still maintains its green color with strong liquidity increase. See more...
