TPBank reduces deposit rates
Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank) has just announced a new deposit interest rate schedule, marking the first time after 3 months of adjustment.
According to online interest rates, terms 1 and 2 months decreased by 0.2% to 3.5% and 3.7%/year. The 3 -month term interest rate also decreased by 0.2 % to 3.8 %/year. Meanwhile, the 6 -month term remained at 4.8%/year, and the 9 -month term was 4.9%/year.
Notably, the 12 -month term interest rate decreased by 0.1 % to 5.2 %/year. The highest interest rate TPBank applied for 24-36 months term remains at 5.8%/year.
Interest rate trend at other banks
From the beginning of February until now, four banks have adjusted the mobilized interest rate. Before TPBank, Techcombank, Bac A Bank and Eximbank also have changes in interest rates in the direction of increasing - decreasing depending on the term.
Techcombank raised interest rates for 6-36 months.
Bac A Bank reduces interest rates for most terms from 1-36 months.
Eximbank raised interest rates for 1-12 months but decreased in terms of 15-36 months.
Currently, with a term deposit of less than 6 months, 19 banks are listing interest rates from 4-4.75%/year.
Eximbank has raised interest rates for 3-5 months to a ceiling of 4.75%/year-the maximum level as prescribed by the State Bank. However, this interest rate applies only for online deposits on weekends, and on weekdays, the highest interest rate is 4.7%/year.
In addition to Eximbank, MBV also applies a ceiling interest rate of 4.75%/year for a term of 4-5 months and is leading a 3-month term with an interest rate of 4.6%/year.
Which bank has the highest interest rate?
The highest 1 -month term interest rate is currently belonging to MBV, Nam A Bank and Kienlongbank, with 4.3%/year.
In addition, Vietbank, BAOVIET BANK, NCB, OCB are also applying the interest rate of 4.5%/year for 5 -month term deposits.
Experts predict, mobilization interest rates can continue to fluctuate in the coming time, especially when banks balance capital and credit policies.
