On the evening of October 13, information from the Hanoi Market Management Department (QLTT), on October 9, Market Management Team No. 16 (Hanoi Market Management Department) coordinated with Team 7 - Economic Police Department (Hanoi City Police) to conduct an inspection of compliance with the law in goods trading activities at business location No. 01 - Nam Anh Import-Export Trading & Export Company Limited (address: 35 Thach Cau, Long Bien Ward, Hanoi City).
At the time of inspection, the Inspection Team discovered that Nam Anh Trading & Import-Export Company Limited was displaying and selling some foreign-made food items, the Director, Ms. N.T.L, represented the work but could not present invoices or documents proving the legality of the goods, showing signs of being smuggled goods.
Accordingly, the violating goods include: 360 packages of Pudding DeeDo Mikku yogurt juice; 120 packages of Wiggles candy; 180 bottles of lemon juice. The total value of the infringing goods was VND35,100,000.
Based on the inspection results, Market Management Team No. 16 determined that Nam Anh Trading & Import-Export Company Limited had the act of "Trading in smuggled goods (as foodstuffs)," as stipulated in Point e, Clause 1 and Point c, Clause 2, Article 15, Decree 98/2020/ND-CP of the Government, Decree regulating administrative sanctions for violations in trade activities, production, trading of counterfeit goods, prohibited goods and consumer protection, amended and supplemented at Point c, Clause 1, Article 2, Decree No. 24/2025/ND-CP dated February 21, 2025.

Previously, on August 20, 2025, Market Management Team No. 16 administratively sanctioned Nam Anh Trading and Import-Export Company Limited for trading in smuggled food goods.
If they continue to repeat the offense in a short time, businesses will be subject to the detriment of "repetition" according to the provisions of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations.
Market Management Team No. 16 has proposed to administratively fine 70,000,000 VND for violations and force the destruction of all violating exhibits according to the provisions of law.
Currently, the case file has been completed by Market Management Team No. 16 and handled according to authority and legal regulations.
