Implementing Official Dispatch No. 50/QLTT-NVTH dated September 29, 2025 of the Da Nang City Market Management Department on strengthening the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods, Market Management Team No. 3 has proactively deployed synchronous professional measures, strengthening market inspection and control for business organizations and individuals in the area. Through inspection, the Team has detected and handled 03 consecutive administrative violations related to the trading of smuggled goods with a total value of the violated goods of more than 50 million VND
On September 29, Market Management Team No. 3 conducted an inspection at the Enterprise in An Khe Ward, Da Nang City. Through inspection, it was discovered that this company was trading in ERAWAN SUGAR refined sugar, originating from Thailand, classified as 50kg/bag, with a quantity of 3,000kg, worth 36 million VND.
All of the above goods do not have invoices or documents to prove the legality of the goods. Based on legal regulations, the inspection team concluded that the enterprise had committed a business in smuggled goods. Market Management Team No. 3 has drawn up a record and submitted to the Market Management Department of Da Nang City to issue a Decision to sanction administrative violations with a fine of 60 million VND for this enterprise.

On October 3, in Thanh Khe ward, the Inspection Team discovered a business household selling 950kg of GOLDEN BROWN SUAR brand refined sugar, originating from Thailand. The value of the goods calculated according to the listed price is 11.4 million VND.
However, at the time of inspection, the business owner could not present invoices or documents proving the origin of the above shipment. Market Management Team No. 3 has drawn up a record of the violation and issued a Decision to sanction administrative violations with a fine of 10 million VND in accordance with current legal regulations. All of the above-mentioned infringing goods are required to be destroyed according to the provisions of law.
Next, Market Management Team No. 3 discovered that a business establishment in An Khe ward was selling many packaged food items of foreign origin but could not present invoices or documents proving their legality.
Through inspection, there were 859 units of products that are pre-packaged and smuggled foods including snacks, sticky rice, candy, yogurt and refined sugar, all of which originated from Thailand, with a total value of more than 4.2 million VND. The team has issued a decision to administratively sanction the act of trading in smuggled goods, a fine of 3 million VND and force the destruction of all violating goods according to regulations.
