Implementing the direction of the Government and the Hanoi Market Management Sub-Department on strengthening the fight and prevention of acts of intellectual property rights infringement, Market Management Team No. 14 simultaneously reviewed and inspected many business establishments showing signs of violations in the area.
According to information from Market Management Team No. 14, on May 20, 2026, the unit coordinated with Quoc Oai Commune Police to inspect Thu Nam business household at 202 Phu Quoc Street, Quoc Oai Commune, Hanoi City.
At the time of inspection, functional forces discovered that this establishment was selling 1,794 fashion products including clothes, sandals and many other items with signs of counterfeit goods of famous brands protected in Vietnam such as "Louis Vuitton", "Dolce & Gabbana", "Moncler", "Burberry", "Dior", "Gucci", "Lacoste", "Adidas", "Nike", "Hermes".
The value of the violating shipment was determined to be about 384.79 million VND.




The entire amount of goods suspected of counterfeiting trademarks has been temporarily seized by functional forces to serve the verification and clarification work. The case file is being completed to be transferred to the investigating agency for handling according to legal regulations.
According to the Hanoi market management force, the business of counterfeit goods, fake goods and goods infringing intellectual property rights in the fashion sector is still developing complicatedly.
